From I-90, Exit 4:
Take Exit 4, Route 85, towards Slingerlands. At the end of the expressway, turn right, still on Route 85 (New Scotland Road.) Follow Route 85 through Slingerlands, New Scotland and New Salem, and climb the long hill in New Salem. At the top of the hill, bear right onto Route 157, toward Thacher Park. Follow Route 157 a couple miles, then through the park. After you exit the park, you will drive about two miles, toward East Berne, passing Thompson’s Lake Road along the way, to Saw Mill Road on your left (about a half mile beyond Thompson’s Lake Road.) Watch for the road sign! We are located at 331 Saw Mill Road, about four tenths of a mile, on the right. You can’t miss us! The drive from
Exit 4 is about a half hour.

From the West:
Take the New York State Thruway (toll road, I-90) to exit 24, and continue to follow I-90 East, to Exit 4, Route 85 to Slingerlands. Follow directions “From I-90 Exit 4.”

Or, locally,

Take Route 443 from Schoharie County to Berne. In Berne, Rt 443 makes a sharp right turn – follow it. Continue to follow Rt 443 a few more miles toward East Berne, and then turn left to Rt 157, toward Thacher Park. Continue on this road about two miles, up a long hill. Just over the top of the hill, turn right onto Saw Mill Road. We are four tenths of a mile down the road, on the right. From Schoharie, the drive is about 25 minutes.

From the East:
Take I-90 West to Exit 4, Route 85 to Slingerlands, and follow the directions “From I-90 Exit 4.”

Or, locally, from Delmar,

Follow Route 443 West from Delmar, through Unionville and Clarksville and up the long hill. Route 443 will be joined by Route 85 along the way. At the top of the hill, bear right, continuing to follow Route 443. Take the second road on the right, Stage Road. Follow Stage Road around a sharp bend to the left, and then take the next right, Saw Mill Road. Follow Saw Mill Road about a half mile, until it meets Long Road. Cross Long Road (there is a little jog to the left to cross the intersection) and continue on Saw Mill Road another half mile. We are at 331 Saw Mill, on the left. You will see our red barn and alpacas – you can’t miss us! From Delmar, the drive is about 20 minutes.

From the North:
Take I-87 South to Exit 2 East, I-90. Take I-90 East to Exit 4, Route 85 to Slingerlands, and follow directions “From I-90 Exit 4.”

From the South:
Take the New York State Thruway (toll road, I-87) to Exit 23, and turn right onto Route 9W/Route 32. A couple miles down the road, bear right onto Route 32 South, toward Delmar, and follow this highway through several stop lights, to the end of the highway (it has turned into a two-lane road.) Turn right, and then take a left at the next light, onto Route 443 West. Follow the directions above “From the East, locally, from Delmar” above.
